A Escola Superior de Comunicação, Administração e Turismo (EsACT) e a Escola Superior Agrária (ESA), do Instituto Politécnico de Bragança (IPB), estão a selecionar estudantes para participar na edição deste ano, que decorrerá de 11 a 15 de maio de 2026, em Eger (Hungria), e tem como tema: "Destinos Verdes em Ação: Onde a Teoria se Transforma em Soluções".

A iniciativa integra o projeto europeu GreenTEA, desenvolvido em parceria com a Eszterházy Károly Catholic University (Hungria), a University of Rijeka (Croácia) e a Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (Finlândia).

Esta é uma oportunidade imperdível para os estudantes das formações de Turismo (EsACT-IPB) ou de Hotelaria (Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Bem-Estar - EHB), que procuram uma experiência de formação internacional de excelência.

O programa foca-se nos desafios reais do turismo sustentável, procurando o equilíbrio entre o desenvolvimento económico, a preservação ambiental e o bem-estar das comunidades locais.

Candidaturas e apoios
Participação gratuita;
Bolsa Erasmus de 913€, para apoiar os custos de viagem e subsistência;
Formação intensiva sobre turismo sustentável e gestão de destinos verdes;
Visitas de campo e atividades práticas em contexto real;
Oportunidade de networking com estudantes e docentes de vários países;

Quem pode candidatar-se?
Estudantes das áreas de Turismo (EsACT-IPB) e Hotelaria (EHB). Certificado Erasmus e suplemento ao diploma.

Requisitos para participação
Ser estudante de Turismo ou Hotelaria da EsACT-IPB ou da EHB;
Possuir bons conhecimentos de Inglês;
Apresentar uma carta de motivação em Inglês, explicando o interesse na Summer School;
Demonstrar bom desempenho académico (média aritmética do melhor semestre e sem unidades curriculares em atraso).

Nota: Os estudantes de nacionalidade não europeia devem garantir que a sua situação documental (Visto de Residência ou Autorização de Residência) está devidamente regularizada e válida para o período da viagem à Hungria. É da responsabilidade do estudante assegurar que possui os documentos necessários para a circulação no espaço Schengen e entrada em território húngaro.

Applications Open for the GreenTEA Summer School 2026 in Hungary
Applications for the 2026 edition of the GreenTEA Summer School are now open and will run until 23 March (Monday).
The School of Public Management, Communication and Tourism (EsACT) and the School of Agriculture (ESA) of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB) are selecting students to participate in this year’s edition, which will take place from 11 to 15 May 2026 in Eger (Hungary) under the theme: “Green Destinations in Action: Where Theory Becomes Solutions.”
The initiative is part of the European GreenTEA project, developed in partnership with Eszterházy Károly Catholic University (Hungary), the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, University of Rijeka (Croatia) and the Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (Finland).
It is a great opportunity for students enrolled in Tourism programmes at EsACT-IPB or Hospitality programmes at the School of Hospitality and Wellness (EHB) seeking a high-quality international learning experience.
The programme focuses on the real challenges of sustainable tourism, seeking to balance economic development, environmental protection and the well-being of local communities.

Applications and support
Free participation;
Erasmus grant of €913 to support travel and living expenses;
Intensive training on sustainable tourism and green destination management;
Field visits and hands-on activities in real-life contexts;
Networking opportunities with students and lecturers from different countries.

Who can apply?
Students enrolled in Tourism (EsACT-IPB) and Hospitality (EHB) programmes. All participants will receive an Erasmus certificate and a Diploma Supplement.

Application requirements
Be a student of Tourism or Hospitality at EsACT-IPB or EHB;
Have good English language skills;
Submit a motivation letter in English, explaining your interest in participating in the Summer School;
Demonstrate good academic performance (arithmetic average of the best semester and no pending curricular units).

Note: Students who are not European nationals must ensure that their documentation (residence visa or residence permit) is in order and valid for the duration of their trip to Hungary. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that they have the necessary documents to travel within the Schengen Area and enter Hungarian territory.
